He was used to having men work and women stay home to cook, clean, and raise the children. He was strict in terms of school dances, going out with friends and boyfriends. It was hard for me to understand why I was always denied wanting to go out. My father made me hate him growing up until I realized he only wanted to protect me. As time went on I noticed that she wanted to break out of that mold and help us become independent, successful women. My parents always supported us in whatever we wanted to do. We are fortunate to have parents who have invested so much time and money in our interests. Growing up playing soccer really shaped me into the person I am today. At first it was just a sport I played for fun in the community. Next thing I know I was asked to be on a travel team and compete against teams along the west coast. My parents and I were committed to my profession as a footballer. I started leveling up pretty quickly for my age. I was traveling to Las Vegas, San Francisco, Arizona and other states for
