In “Bush's War on Terror, Cover-Up,” Deanna Spingola explains how Bush and his administration were aware of, perhaps involved in, the 9/11 attacks. September 11th. Spingola states: “There were procedural failures on 9/11 that could only have occurred if there had been complicity at the highest levels of government.” With all that government negligence, no one has ever been a disciple of intelligence failure. After 9/11 we saw more promotions within the government. Before the attack, air traffic control regularly and uncomplicatedly passes all protocols 67 times before a new twisted order. Spingola did not understand why a new order had been inserted in which the Secretary of Defense would have inserted the decision-making and action protocol. There were war exercises, scheduled for the morning of September 11, during which this made the government's reaction times slower than usual. Bush was fighting the conspiracy war at the same time he was fighting the war in Iraq. Spingola states: “Bush and his minions claim to be true patriots. So we either support their words and actions or we are vilified as unpatriotic.” Bush had a dictatorial attitude when it came to arguing for war. He felt he didn't have to justify or answer anyone's questions for his reasons. Bush let Americans believe some of the conspiracy theories to shift the blame away from his administration. Instead of finding the most qualified and competent person to lead the investigation into the September 11 attacks, Bush appointed an individual who had already been criticized by the government before. Henry Kissinger, a man investigated for his secret activities and tried for war crimes, was now called upon to investigate the greatest crime against America. Bush took over... middle of paper... age. The government must stop blaming other countries for its own terrorist actions. They need an open and full investigation into the government's war on terrorists, led by an investigator chosen by the American people. American citizens must stand up for what they believe is morally right and not what they are told to stand up for.
