Japanese internment camps began in February, about two months after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, which was also why America decided to enter the war. People's suspicions of the Japanese led the government to pass an order to uproot 120,000 people from their homes, lives, families, everything they knew. World War II brought many changes, even as their families were contained, many young Japanese joined the US Army in the fight against Germany and Japan.
