The government must know that it would kill millions of people by removing just one of our basic rights. There are currently laws in place banning the sale of firearms to convicted criminals, yet criminals are still able to obtain guns, the same would be true if the government banned all firearms. Conversely, many believe that the use of weapons has made this world more violent when, in reality, violence has existed on earth since Cain killed Able in the field with simply a stone, the only difference being the weapon chosen.
