Considering a stereotypical classroom, the bell rings, students are almost in their seats, and the teacher demands their attention. It is difficult for the teacher to get the attention, much less the willingness to learn, from his or her students. No matter what subject is taught, this has a recipe for boredom right from the start. Any curiosity or imagination of the students was stifled. In order for the teacher to acquire the enthusiasm to learn from his students, he should use all the mental acuity of which he is capable. No matter how gifted the teacher, students tend to lose interest in learning in a day-to-day classroom environment. What creative power or what unusual and highly innovative resource can be implemented in a classroom limited by tradition, lack of creativity and monotony? The answer is not a teacher who has an ingenious nature or who is a skilled innovator. The answer depends on the teacher's methods. There are many different methods that have proven effective. Activities such as group-led discussion, group discovery, and teacher-led critical thinking discussions have proven effective in integrating different learning styles (Chick). Another method that will stimulate the imagination and arouse the analytical side of students is the implementation of audiovisual and visual aids for introduction, during lessons, stimuli for discussions and also for closing the lesson (Atkinson 2). This is a tool, a resource that must be exploited.
