Topic > My Future in Education - 808

The role of a teacher is to facilitate education for their students, which is often an ongoing process. Through this facilitation a teacher brings with him a certain set of skills and talents. He or she must also be proficient in important areas of knowledge such as science, mathematics, history, social studies or art, given his or her qualifications and experience. The key areas to look for in a teacher are not only their qualifications but also their personality traits. Is this person lively and active or dry and monotonous? Will they integrate well into the environment in which they will be placed? What have they accomplished in their lives? How much experience do they really have working with children or young adults? These are some questions you need to ask yourself when trying to determine if a teacher will be a good fit for a school. If teaching is in my future, how will I support my claim that I am the right person for the job? What I should do is evaluate my skills, I will also have to put on the table my talents, my personality and my experience, as well as my results, to hopefully get the job and from there set a good example for my students so they can see me as a role model. Working with students can be an easier task if you have some skills and talents. Public speaking comes easier to me than to many other people. Public speaking can be divided into a few parts. Speaking loud enough so everyone can hear is important. It's important that your voice travels around the room so everyone can hear. Being engaging is another aspect of public speaking that I believe I have. Every year students come and go and the lineup changes. Being able to speak effectively and convey a message is essential to becoming a teacher. Through... middle of the paper... being able to admit and evaluate what time is important before making the decision to become a teacher. Teachers must be able to deal with tantrums and lack of participation, attitudes, attendance and any problems that may occur in the school environment. The way I see my future is as a school counselor or rehabilitation counselor/psychologist. In conclusion, I believe I have some great qualities within me that can allow me to be a great teacher. However, my heart is not in teaching. I don't think teaching is for me because I don't have the drive and passion to pursue it. I look at many of the student teacher prep students around me and listen to their stories and see their drive, but I see how we are on divergent paths. In general, I praise teachers and students who become teachers because they are not appreciated enough and deserve more praise than usual.
