The effectiveness of the National Security Association (NSA)American citizens have the right to their freedom, which means that citizens can act, behave and do what we want without worrying about someone watching our every move. Ayn Rand once said, “Civilization is progress toward a society based on privacy. The whole existence of the savage is public, regulated by the laws of his tribe. Civilization is the progress that leads to the liberation of man from men." The National Security Association (NSA) was established to protect the freedom of the American citizen, even if it can go beyond its limits, interfering with the right to privacy; this organization is very effective. The National Security Association is a necessary and effective organization in ensuring the security of the nation. The National Security Association is a program that the American government uses to meddle in other countries and even the United States of America. The National Security Association was founded on November 4, 1952 by President Harry Truman. This program helped crack Japanese and German codes during World War II (NSA FAQ). The NSA has beefed up its technology department and adapted to modern technology after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. This is effective because the government can intercept more information faster and much more efficiently. The National Security Association is part of the American Code Breakers Association. This means that the government can break any codes to understand what they mean and what is embedded in the codes. The Central Security Service “CSS” was established in 1972 to establish full cooperation between the National Security Agency and the armed forces (National Security Agency).
