By definition, organizational culture means "a system of shared meanings and common beliefs held by organizational members." In other words, organizational culture is what constitutes the organization and defines it for the community. It is made up of small attributes such as values, expectations, inner feelings, how employees will behave towards their customers, beliefs and rules that have been built over time. It is a perception, that is, it is not a physical thing that anyone can touch or see, but it is always present in every organization. A company's organizational culture develops through a hierarchy that shows the most important ideas at the top and then descends to less important company goals that have been decided and supported by the entire company. There is no right or wrong organizational culture; it's actually simply the way the company does its things, describing it from the inside. A company's organizational culture is described by top management and manifests itself in their work. If the company states one set of goals and makes another, this creates conflict and makes the company culture weak. Organizational Culture on Facebook Facebook; Mark Zuckerberg's organization is unstructured. The organizational culture created by Mark Zuckerberg is relaxed and unstructured. It is an open work environment with a lot of freedom given to all employees, including Zuckerberg himself who works among employees in open offices. Employees can come and go as they like, so more freedom for employees.
