Although the level of medicine has been extremely increased, it is still not enough to ignore the risk. Since it is still being improved, people have to bear the danger when trying a new medical invention like DBS. It means that people have to invest their body or life to get the result of the experiment. Even though Lisa Nash, who is patient Molly's mother, says "We did what we had to do to keep our daughter from dying (17)" in Belkin's article, what Molly's parents did was the experiment to give his daughter Molly another life. In other words, they tested each other's study on the noble life of another human being: the life of Adam. The purpose of man's birth cannot be anything other than himself. Slater also mentions how medical procedures achieve results on the safety of human life. He explains the details of DBS by saying that “there is a gruesome quality to any brain surgery. The drill is huge; its twisted tip grinds the bone, creating two holes on either side of the skull” (239). This shows that there is always danger when the doctor performs surgery that directly deals with the human body and life. Of course, there is always a downside to everything, and a successful surgery can be a significant discovery. However, medical experiments or surgeries are not as simple as cutting down a tree or repairing a fence using a heavy drill, and there is nothing as valuable to spend human lives on as a
