Music is some of the things we tend to listen to every day. Whether or not it comes from our iPods, our cars, or the background music of our lives. There is a song for practically every feeling and music will be considered an extremely healing mechanism. Over the years there have been various varieties of music that embrace completely different rhythms, sounds and evoke different emotions. Such varieties of music are hip hop and rap, alternative music and rock and roll music. Music incorporates a long line and every single sound and type of music are intertwined into each other and influence each other. For these reasons, music not only defines a type of sound, but also recreates lifestyles and defines entire generations. The skill of music can be seen from all different types of music. One of the many popular types of music that have been formed much more recently is rap/hip hop. There are different elements of Rap. However in short it is a musical style that consists of semi-monotonic rhymes arranged over musical rhythms. But it doesn't end there, additional powerful bass and numerous drum beats are usually incorporated. In the early stages of hip hop, rapping was performed by DJs. Sounds made up of turntables and microphone controls are incorporated into several rap songs.
