You are in a world with no traffic signs, no steering wheel, no seat belts and even no other cars on the road; It may seem like a mere example of paradise and laziness, but no. You're just drunk. Drunk driving gives you a feeling of invincibility and the strength to do whatever you want. But in reality you are even more likely to be seriously injured or killed. The brain is a sensitive organ used to send signals throughout the body. In an article “Alcohol Alert: Drinking and Driving”, it is stated: “Driving involves multiple activities” (1). So when people drink, the brain loses the ability to send signals to other parts of the body. This causes poor multitasking ability that everyone can do while sober. People may think they can multitask while drunk, but they can't because they're drunk. Driving under the influence of alcohol is a serious crime and people can get into big trouble if they get caught, especially if they have multiple criminal offences. No one wants to get in trouble for something they can easily avoid. People don't believe they will get in trouble right now but they end up getting caught and thrown in prison. Many people are drunk every day and they really deserve it. Driving under the influence of alcohol is one of the main causes of fatal road accidents. In fact, it is said to be one of the main causes of death in the world. We need tougher laws and more educators to teach and force people to stop driving under the influence and make sure everyone on the road is safe from harm. It would be fantastic to see zero arrests and zero drunk driving accidents around the world. Nobody knows when this will happen. Drinking and driving are one of the leading causes of death worldwide.
