Tuesday starts first; she tells Latisha that it hurts her that her mother works on the streets and that her friends see her. Additionally, Tuesday tells her mother that it upsets her that she has never been to one of her games or competitions. Latisha appears to be disinterested and indifferent to Tuesday's words; which makes sense because their relationship is almost non-existent. Next, Sadiha speaks. She tells her mother that it is unfair to her and her siblings that they never had a mother. Once again, Latisha seems unfazed. Then Sharon expresses her concerns. She tells Latisha that she is so worried that someone will come to her door and tell her that Latisha is dead somewhere on the side of the road. Latisha begins to show emotion; yet she says, "You can't keep me clean." At the end Solomon speaks. He tells his mother that he has always admired her, but she acts like his friend and he has enough friends. He concludes by saying that he needs her to be his mother, and that the treatment won't be difficult and she just needs to try it. Latisha starts to burst into tears and agrees to go
