We may not even have consciously noticed that advertising has certainly had an effect on us especially for teenagers. Adolescents are more susceptible to the effects of advertising than others. Many advertisements provide teenagers with information about card bets. Teens are negatively impacted through advertising through stereotypes, impressionable and unrealistic. Stereotyping in advertising is the most common idea we could find in the media. Many teenagers have been contaminated by advertising. Advertising provided by the slimming and beauty industries makes the adolescent definition that beautiful women should be thin, fit and white and that men are stereotyped as handsome, tall, super fit and with six pack abs.
