There are some differences between classical and romantic music; these two types of music come from two different time periods (and this is probably the most obvious reason why they are different from each other). The Classical period in music lasted from approximately 1730 to 1815. This was the period of composers such as: Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Christoph Willibald Gluck, Domenico Scarlatti, and "Daddy" Joseph Haydn, among others. music was an era in which melody acquired a new lyrical meaning. Before the Classical period, melody in music did not have the same lyrical weight that it had in the Classical period. From the 1730s the melodies began to have a certain quality that made the instrumental melodies seem as if they were sung by a real voice. Through the use of new forms and maps that were not truly established until the classical period, composers such as Mozart and Scarlatti made their melodies and music sing.
