During the years leading up to 2012, loyal Apple customers were protesting and petitioning when they found out that Apple's working conditions at Foxconn were not acceptable, the issue came to worldwide attention. Furthermore, customers no longer wanted to purchase Apple products due to the increasing number of accidents or suicides at Foxconn. Employees worked in a dangerous environment and lived in dormitories that felt like a prison. These issues brought Apple to attention and it decided to join the Fair Labor Association, a monitoring group that includes at least 43 violations of Chinese laws and regulations. Apple is not careful about working conditions and safety conditions, this will create many obstacles in the future. Therefore, Apple needs to hire educated human resources employees to focus on these problems that continue to occur.
