Workers involved in an accident were often injured by an explosion or sometimes killed, working 7 days a week and often working overtime so much that they could barely walk. The 2010 explosion injured workers at iPad factories when they were ordered to use a poisonous chemical to clean iPhone screens. Within 2 years, the explosions killed four people and injured 77. Apple was warned of the dangerous conditions before the explosions occurred, after many accidents or suicides, Apple did not plan to do anything regarding safety conditions and working conditions. During the years leading up to 2012, loyal Apple customers were protesting and petitioning when they found out that Apple's working conditions at Foxconn were not acceptable, the issue came to worldwide attention. Furthermore, customers no longer wanted to purchase Apple products due to the increasing number of accidents or suicides at Foxconn. Employees worked in a dangerous environment and lived in dormitories that felt like a prison. These issues brought Apple to attention and it decided to join the Fair Labor Association, a monitoring group that includes at least 43 violations of Chinese laws and regulations. The workers were interviewed by the monitoring group and almost half had suffered or witnessed an accident at work. factory, furthermore they were not satisfied with the salary because it was not enough to cover basic needs and medical expenses...... half paper ...... due to the poor safety conditions, workers are forced to use substances poisonous chemicals to clean iPhone screens or explosions have occurred due to aluminum dust which could easily be resolved by installing a ventilation system. If Apple wants to prevent a bad reputation, it needs to take these issues into consideration, regardless of whether it costs money. Through research into current problems (cause and effect), it will help Foxconn prevent future explosions, saving many lives. Apple is not careful about working conditions and safety conditions, this will create many obstacles in the future. Therefore, Apple needs to hire educated human resources employees to focus on these problems that continue to occur. It is not only a question of product quality but also how it is manufactured, regardless of whether the labor cost is low, it should not cost people's lives.
