The destruction of the rainforest should be bannedThe destruction of the rainforest should be banned. Planet Earth is accelerating at an alarming rate; heading towards their own self-destruction. What we learned in high school taught us the importance of converting carbon dioxide into oxygen. Without this conversion process, life as we know it today could cease to exist. The rainforest provides much-needed oxygen to the planet. There are numerous rainforests around the world. The largest rainforest is located in Brazil. This precious natural resource is being destroyed due to a nation's poverty and the timber it provides. Unfortunately, this is a limited resource. Many natural resources are available to humanity. However, once the rainforest is depleted, it may never return. This natural resource is a living, breathing life force on this planet. It needs sun and rain to exist. It can thrive without anyone's help. It can also be destroyed. It can be shot down without any chance of survival. The seeds of renewal must be given the opportunity to replenish themselves. Without this, there is no hope of survival. Rainforest devastation is currently underway in the world's most economically disadvantaged countries. Once depleted, however, this rainforest may never return. To understand the point of view of poor countries; we must examine the reasons for this needless destruction. Many poor countries do not enjoy the educational benefits of richer countries. Lack of education makes it more difficult to realize that destroying these trees causes permanent damage. For these countries, it is simply a choice to eat... middle of paper... no. Will we deprive our children of this natural beauty? History tells us that humans must conquer their environment. We devastate our planet with nuclear waste. We extract oil and pollute our planet. Let's send men to the Moon and leave our waste behind. The oil spills in Prince William Sound and the cleanup that followed are part of man's legacy of dominating the world around him. The planet's neglect remains unchallenged to this day. The world is so big and it gets smaller and smaller with each passing day. Man is becoming aware of global warming and its effects on the planet. We are finally starting to realize the effects our civilization has on the world we live in. Now we have to take this into account when making choices. Our choice must be the correct one. The destruction of the rainforest must be avoided.
