Every year millions of animals are used in medical experiments to benefit human health. Animals are used for everything from vaccines and other pharmaceuticals to cosmetics. Fortunately, in recent years scientists have found other ways to test drugs and cosmetics rather than, in some cases, on animals. Medical tests, especially in the early stages, can be extremely painful for animals and can even cause death. The same can be said for cosmetic testing. There are many demonstrations against animal testing regarding where the line is drawn when it comes to animal rights.
