Why is it essential for Christians to have faith in His wisdom? Tozer sublimely explains that God's wisdom is "infinite".[1] To elaborate further, there is nothing that God does not know; His knowledge is infinite and is the derivation of all truth.[2] Furthermore, Tozer describes all of God's actions as being done with "perfect wisdom." wisdom.[4] As expressed in The Knowledge of the Holy One, many people throughout time have questioned the legitimacy of God's wisdom being pure, on the grounds that there is a significant amount of evil in the world.[5] That said, questioning God's wisdom in this way is completely logical and may be normal for believers, and sometimes even non-believers, to think, but Tozer considers it profane.[6] To clarify, Tozer's view of God's wisdom is entirely based on faith. To explain further, no matter how dark and evil things may appear in this "fallen world", people must still have faith in God's "perfect wisdom" and realize that there is always a right reason for it.[7 ] Tozer goes on to explain that it is not enough to have faith in God's impeccable wisdom, but rather that people must also exercise their faith through prayer.[8] He says this on the basis that God has taken complete responsibility for humanity's eternal happiness, so the least humanity can do is have faith in God's flawless and infinite wisdom.[9] The reader can easily interpret that Tozer had a very mystical view and strong Christ-follower on the issue of the “infinite” and “perfect” of God.”
