The IliadThe Iliad is the first written record of anything. Never before was the Iliad the writing instrument used so extensively. The Iliad is a wonderful work. Great in fame and content, the Iliad was used as the first historical text, philosophical writing and storybook. Historians use it for an account of an era. Philosophers use it as one of the foundations of human thought. For children it is a wonderful story of battles between men and their gods. It is a writing with multiple uses. One of these uses of the Iliad is that it is an illustration of humanity. It is an illustration that the life of a man or woman exists with conflict. The Iliad illustrates that it is human nature to create and live with conflict, whether by choice or not, in order to have a purpose in life. Humanity creates conflicts through external and internal struggles, conflicts in the ideas created by humanity, conflicts in love, and even in times of peace, man creates conflicts. In terms of external struggles, humanity creates its own external conflicts to solve problems. a current problem if a peaceful solution cannot be found. In the Iliad, the war between the Achaeans and Trojans began after Helen left with Paris for Troy. The fight for Helen between two men turned into a war between two civilizations. Menelaus' feelings for Helen did not allow him to let her go scot-free. Instead, he and Agamemnon rallied the entire Achaean civilization to fight Troy to bring back Helen and her riches. A peaceful solution was not found before the war began. Paris would not return Helen. To resolve this turmoil, war was unleashed. A famous comedian, Martin Lawrence, is quoted as saying: We can't all get... half the paper... The United States has a job that keeps them at work from nine in the morning to nine. five in the afternoon. It's called the Rat Race and to many it doesn't seem like a very meaningful life to lead. There is always the eternal question that is pondered over time: what makes a good life? Whether you have had riches or lived poor but happily, you will have problems. Whether you made a difference in the world as a scientist or lived a peaceful life in the country, you've had your share of conflicts. Whether people encourage or discourage conflicts and problems, they exist. Conflicts can range from participating in a war against a dictator to deciding who is the right man or woman for one's affections. It is human nature to create conflicts, whether by choice or with the help of fate. Therefore, conflict must therefore exist as an essential part of humanity's very existence.
