The brain is the most powerful and complicated structure of the human organ. The human brain is absolutely spectacular and is the most precious gift to people. There are actually subtle differences in the way male and female brains are structured and how they react to a particular event and stimulus. Men's brains are on average 10% larger than women's and have 4% more cells. Somehow, women's brains are made up of more nerve cells and cellular connections, which makes their brains more compact and smaller to be more effective and efficient. Differences in brain structures that affect men and women mainly concern their thinking ability, communication skills and abilities in certain fields are our areas of research. The main differences in brain structures that affect men and women are their thinking abilities. It most likely impacts how they process and accumulate all the information. First, according to Lin (2008), men think separately and women think globally. In short, humans tend to memorize details much like the drawer and filing cabinet system. Meanwhile, women tend to connect all things. For example, a man will close the "wife drawer" and open the "work drawer", leave behind any thoughts of disagreement with his wife and remain focused on work. However, his wife brooded over the disagreement all day. It's because he thinks globally and weaves together the details. Subsequently, according to Gray (2011), men always perform tasks basically on the rational side of the brain, which is the left side of the brain. He also notes that men performed better on tests requiring mental rotation, a thought to indicate direction. On the other hand, women are undoubtedly superior in thinking, based on G...... middle of paper ......these differences. By knowing all these differences, at least, we can gain a better appreciation for the strengths and unique qualities of the opposite sex. Although both men and women as a population tend to perform better in certain areas, the margin of difference is slightly small. The more men and women understand their differences, the more they will appreciate each other. Works CitedGray, J (2011). The male brain versus the female brain.
