The shots in the fight are used to show the power Nick has over Rocky. Two shots are shot of Nick's legs and an overhead shot is used to really show how small Rocky is. Close-ups are used to indicate Rocky's vulnerability towards his father and Nick's mischievous behavior towards his son. An eye-level shot is used when Rocky throws his gloves and runs away from his father. When Nick's friend makes a remark about his fight, Nick punches the bottle his friend is holding and knocks it off the camera. The scene cuts to a window breaking and Rocky seeing the police behind him. He is captured by the police, but soon escapes into the darkness. The scene then cuts to an older Rocky, who escapes the protectorate and returns home to his
