Diversity is part of change. The nature of a business and the business sector is full of changes and everyone, including the customer and suppliers, must keep pace with the change for it to occur and offer new horizons and opportunities. Diversity occurs constantly in the business world. However, for many years it was not discussed or considered openly. In today's world, diversity, innovation and globalization are the foundation of doing business. As the world changes and new trends arrive, the prospects of a change like diversity are discussed and sometimes put into practice in its early stages. Diversity has its branches. Some of the diversity trends are slowly but surely seeping into companies and offices for better performance, talent and results. Today, being different is not the exclusive prerogative of people in the workplace. Previously, the term “diversity” was limited to hiring and eliminating discrimination against employees. These employees often come from minorities, cultures, or people with different workplace beliefs. Now there are new changes in diversity and some of them are directed at the management of the actual business. Employer Diversity Diversity is often found in the form of employees in the workplace. Employees come from different backgrounds and employers/owners have the power to include or exclude a potential employee. Ideally, employees should be hired based on their skills or talents. However, employees are vulnerable to personal or systematic discrimination. An employee may be discriminated against based on gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, beliefs, age, disability, economic level and education. The law encourages diversity in the workplace, but many employers aren't required to follow... middle of paper... entrepreneurs to start a business and feel a little more positive about their entrepreneurial journey. Change is not always something that should be feared, sometimes it is also some things that need to be embraced. With these changes in diversity, it won't take long for entrepreneurs to see and reap the benefits. Diversity in business still has a long way to go. However, these changes are slowly becoming an integral part of business practices, especially the diversity of employees and entrepreneurs. Clashes and misunderstandings are expected and should be resolved immediately by the people concerned. This is especially essential for employees. There is a lower chance of being discriminated against when it comes to entrepreneurs, but exclusion still occurs. For businesses and economies to thrive and progress, diversity is an ingredient that can contribute immensely.
