Life as we knew it no longer exists. The world begins to fade before the viewer's eyes, life becomes precious and love is the only thing to hold on to. Suddenly a meteor crashes into the moon creating massive floods, earthquakes and explosive volcanic eruptions across the world. Miranda, a teenager, and her family try to cope with the drastic lack of supplies. The future looks bleak, but Miranda tries to maintain hope as life as she knew it disappears. The meteor crashing into the moon was spasmodic, but it left the world crumbling in its wake of destruction. The sun appears not to exist, due to the volcanic ash that has spread into the air.
