• Describe any crucial experiences or situations in your life that profoundly changed your ethical/moral perspectives or served to strengthen perspectives you already had. One of the most crucial experiences or situations that profoundly changed my ethical/moral perspective to strengthen the perspective I already have when I was a manager in a fast food restaurant and we/I had an accident. The accident was a missing deposit. It all started when I made the daily run checkout sheet for the Dunbar Courier. The report stated that the cash sheet should have two deposits. One was present, the other was not in the safe. One of my most ethical statements has been to be as open and honest as possible. When you work as a manager you are in the eyes of all the many people, clients and business people who perceive you as a sound ethical person who does business by the books. I can actually remember the events that happened that particular day, because that sentence will be repeated forever. What could I have done differently to prevent this from happening? It was a Tuesday morning and we had just finished a rush of people ordering food from the menu. when Dunbar, a courier service that holds the money as it is transported to the bank, walked in and was ready to receive the deposit. the courier gave me the key and I opened the safe, there was only one deposit in the safe. I immediately called my owner-operator and explained what the situation was. He told me to just give the money to the courier in Dunbar and he will take care of the matter. I immediately acknowledged his request and proceeded to seal the bag, had the courier sign the book and let him leave with... half the paper... things that are more likely to involve a long-term follow this philosophy. Finally, the final vision when I complete this lesson is to reflect on my end goal; strengthening my moral code of ethics of good manners, conduct and prosperity in business. When I complete this lesson, I will use an intelligent method that will motivate me to use all the philosophies used by business to make a valid decision, whether it is teleology, egoism, utilitarianism, deontology, relativism, virtue. Ethics or simply planning justice. Philosophy that will work in the near future. Thinking long term, these philosophies will allow me to make a sound business decision, both off the record and in the justice system when it comes to being right or wrong. I will also use the SMART method which will allow me to continue using goals and motivation that will help me thrive.
