Since the beginning of time people have always been looked at differently depending on the color of their skin or what their religion, race or beliefs might be. It is our human nature to not love people for certain things they are. Many will argue that nowadays we are no longer in a race war, but how can you be so sure when you actually open your eyes and see the reality. Rapper Kanye West once said that "racism is still alive, they're just hiding it" and these words are far from false. You have to ask yourself the real question about racism and that is: how could you ever cure something like that in people's minds? Africans at that time never imagined that they would be kidnapped and become slaves. When you have become the master of someone or something, in our minds that person or thing is automatically considered inferior to you.
